Although numerous companies tout their ability to exceed the customers’ expectations, very few actually do so. But one of those companies that exceeds a customer’s expectations is Handyside. Whether it’s the “front desk” or the technicians responding to a service call, each makes the customer feel not only important but, as well, conveys their appreciation for having the opportunity to be of service. Our recent request for service entailed a perplexing aspect and making sure the service was performed promptly and correctly, the technician called two colleagues to help diagnose the problem. And, they did! The problem was resolved and in the process of doing so, Brian, Rick and Randy demonstrated their expertise in a professional and reassuring manner. The day was highlighted by outstanding work by outstanding individuals! Wanted to add an addendum....Experienced a furnace problem. Called Handyside. The ladies on the phone couldn't have been more helpful...especially since it was a pre-dawn call. The technician, Dalton Fissel, was superb. He carefully diagnosed the problem, recommended a solution, we discussed it, he proceeded and all's well. This is the way these things are supposed to work out!!! Couldn't be more pleased with the team at Handyside. A ten rating for sure.

After the severe storms that went through Carlisle I thought we would have to wait along time to get help. A tractor trailer pulled down our power cable to our house. Randy came by right after we called and although he couldn’t fix it immediately he was there bright and early the next morning. He was very nice and professional. I wouldn’t hesitate to call him again.

After approving the estimate, our team moved forward with installing the new Generac generator, completed the necessary connections, and registered the generator for the extended 7 year warranty.

Handyside Plumbing, HVAC & Electrical provided an evaluation of the home’s electrical system after the reported power surge and determined that replacement of the existing 100 amp service components was necessary for safety and reliability. We replaced all major components of the existing 100 amp service, including installation of a new 30 space 100 amp panel, new breakers, updated bonding and grounding with two new ground rods outside, a new 100 amp disconnect, new 100 amp meter base, new service cable, and a new weather head. We also included grounding and bonding of the gas and water systems, labeled the panel, and verified that most areas were functioning properly at completion.

Our team went out to review the property’s setup and power needs, and present generator options that would be the best fit. The customer ultimately chose to move forward with installation, so we installed the generator along with a propane tank, which supplies the fuel needed to power the generator.

After discussing the condition of the existing unit and long term reliability, the customer chose to convert from oil to gas. Handyside Plumbing, HVAC & Electrical completed a replacement of the 200 amp underground electrical service and installed a new 26KW whole home generator to provide safe, efficient, and dependable backup power for the home.
