Handyside Plumbing, HVAC & Electrical came out to provide a replacement quote and outlined a full system upgrade. We proposed installing an American Standard 97% gas furnace, a 3 ton 17 SEER2 air conditioner, matching coil, new thermostat, and an Aprilaire 2000 filter to improve comfort, efficiency, and overall system performance. The customer agreed to move forward with the project. We removed all units, installed the new system, and made sure everything worked properly.

Handyside Plumbing, HVAC & Electrical provided a service call and maintenance visit after the customer reported that when they ran the cooling, the outdoor unit would not operate. Upon inspection, we identified two fault codes at the indoor unit and four fault codes at the outdoor unit. It was determined that the system was low on refrigerant. We provided a quote to recharge the system and recommended performing a leak search at a later date. The customer approved the work, and 4 pounds 6 ounces of R 410A refrigerant were added to the outdoor unit to achieve 7 to 9 degrees of subcooling. After completing the repair, the system was tested in both cooling and heating modes to confirm proper operation.

After approving the estimate, our team moved forward with replacing the water heater. The gas and water lines were turned off, the old water heater was disconnected and drained to the outside, and the new water heater was installed. New connections were made to the supply and gas lines, everything was tested, and no leaks were detected.
