The customer contacted Handyside Plumbing, HVAC & Electrical because they wanted us to perform a service call and maintenance on their system. They stated that when they ran the cooling, the outdoor unit would not run. They reached out to have the equipment inspected, serviced, and maintained to help ensure it was operating properly and to address the issue affecting system performance and reliability.

Handyside Plumbing, HVAC & Electrical provided a service call and maintenance visit after the customer reported that when they ran the cooling, the outdoor unit would not operate. Upon inspection, we identified two fault codes at the indoor unit and four fault codes at the outdoor unit. It was determined that the system was low on refrigerant. We provided a quote to recharge the system and recommended performing a leak search at a later date. The customer approved the work, and 4 pounds 6 ounces of R 410A refrigerant were added to the outdoor unit to achieve 7 to 9 degrees of subcooling. After completing the repair, the system was tested in both cooling and heating modes to confirm proper operation.
