Vaughn did an excellent job of servicing our yearly HVAC inspection and service.

Had a water leak at my main shut off valve. Jason from Handyside was able to come right out and evaluate the situation. Stopped the leak and provided a way forward to fix the valve.

Fast scheduling- we noticed the issue on Thursday night and had to go out of town for a trip. The scheduling staff got us the earliest appointment the following Monday and informed us about what to expect during the tech visit. Andrew was very professional. Perform an exam quickly after arrival and provided a plan with details within 30 mins. The service was great and we are very happy that we reached out to Handyside for our plumbing problem.

Handyside was able to come out quickly (the online booking is so convenient!) and take a look at our dishwasher. Andrew Myers looked around, found out that it wasn’t a plumbing issue but a dishwasher issue. He was able to look at our toilet that had been acting weird and replace something in there to make it work properly again. All the Handyside staff we’ve interacted with have been helpful and professional!

Bo fully detailed us about what he was going to do, what was needed & how he was going to approach the repairs. He was very friendly & professional. We need more people like him. He did a temporary fix on another issue that needs to be addressed, but didn’t fit into our schedule right now, but we will definitely have him back to finish that repair. Thank you for hiring people like Bo who are not only proficient in their job, but also know how to work with seniors & their multitude of questions. He is a very patient, competent person who instills trust in you.

We’ve had a “difficult to diagnose repair” - but Brian has done his best to keep good communication with us as we wait for parts for a generator. Handyside is always quick to respond to house needs and they are a good team and I think we love that the most!

Austin Wright and Chris did a great job in servicing our gas heating unit for winter. They also drained and installed a new shut off valve for our gas hot water heater. Job well done!

Price quoted was increased as technicians arrived. However, negotiations resulted in the return to quoted amount. Maintenance work was thorough.

Today Garrett from Handyside came to fix our porch light for us. I called last week for service and they were able to take me the next day, However, I was Only able to be home today. Scheduling was pretty easy and calling in the lady that helped was very friendly and knowledgeable. Garrett called and texted me to let me know he would be here in 40 minutes, I showed him the light and described the issues we had sent him to the Electric Panel and he assessed the issues fairly quickly. He came back and explained the assessment and gave me pricing options, which included a membership. He quickly got to work and finished up everything in less than 80 minutes from his arrival. He answered all my questions and made me feel really comfortable. He demonstrated that the issue was fixed because the lights were turned on, how to mitigate the situation And how to find the reset button outside. 100% I would recommend handy side and I would call them again if we have any issues. They also do HVAC and plumbing services so I know that we have a company that is full service. Lastly, I did have a coupon from Handyside that we received in the mail and he gladly accepted it!

Geothermal HVAC, gas water heater, and UV water disinfection systems were installed. Installers Mike and Andrew were knowledgeable, professional, and friendly, as Chris was when giving a price quote. Cost of all 3 items was the same as another company had quoted for just the geothermal (same model). During quote stage, Chris answered our emailed questions rapidly and comprehensively. During install, Mike and Andrew provided thorough descriptions of each system and routine maintenance. Mike made some calls and took the time to ensure the geothermal was set up ideally. We made our first call asking to start a quote on Tuesday 9/9, and everything was installed as of Thursday 9/18; probably could have been even faster, but we took a few days to ask questions and consider. In summary, Handyside has knowledgeable staff, much lower pricing than our other quote, and rapid turnaround on each step of the process.
