Although numerous companies tout their ability to exceed the customers’ expectations, very few actually do so. But one of those companies that exceeds a customer’s expectations is Handyside. Whether it’s the “front desk” or the technicians responding to a service call, each makes the customer feel not only important but, as well, conveys their appreciation for having the opportunity to be of service. Our recent request for service entailed a perplexing aspect and making sure the service was performed promptly and correctly, the technician called two colleagues to help diagnose the problem. And, they did! The problem was resolved and in the process of doing so, Brian, Rick and Randy demonstrated their expertise in a professional and reassuring manner. The day was highlighted by outstanding work by outstanding individuals!

Very professional staff from the office to the technicians. Heather (office) and Brian (tech) were both very nice, knowledgeable, and helpful from the appointment booking through the service visit for my HVAC system. We are so excited by the upgrades Handyside gave our house today! Brian, Bo, and we believe the third gentleman was Colton did a beautiful job installing ceiling fans, recessed lights, changing switched outlets to unswitched, and a couple of other things. We're looking forward to the next time they come by, and we respectfully request Handyside considers adding landscaping to the company repertoire :)

Handyside Plumbing, HVAC & Electrical provided a detailed estimate with solution options to replace the entire 200 amp underground electrical service and bring the home up to current NEC code requirements. The approved work included replacing the full underground service, installing a new meter and a new 54 space panel with all new breakers, adding two grounding rods to properly update the service grounding, and installing a Siemens breaker style whole home surge protection device. We also fully labeled the new panel to the best of our ability and coordinated a Pennsylvania state electrical inspection to confirm the service is compliant. In addition, we installed two GFCI outlets at the kitchen counter area to protect the kitchen circuit per code.
