They installed a new heat pump several years ago and perform maintenance on it. Very good service, prices, dependable & technicians very polite & professional.

"Winter is coming"... And, we have an eighteen year old HVAC system! Mind you, it is still functioning and we have it serviced yearly BUT it is still aging... Tick tock. Tick tock. We have worked with Handyside several times this year doing various projects. We appreciate their thoroughness and quality of work, so we thought we'd seek their thoughts on our beast in the basement. After a very thorough inspection with Vaughn, he was able to identify some concerns and made several recommendations. Vaughn was able to address several immediate things but our beast was on its last legs and we were going to need a new HVAC system in the near future. The same day we were able to meet with Erick, who presented us with several options for an upgraded replacement unit in addition to changing the duct work for better air flow through the entire home. We did our homework and sought out other quotes and estimates from other companies but Handyside was clearly the best option for our needs. After two days of work, Chevy and his assistant hauled away the beast and installed new duct work, HVAC system, humidifier and thermostat. Chevy and his team were very courteous in keeping our home as clean as possible throughout the process. He even took the time to show us the inside of our ductwork and noted the previous homeowners were likely smokers (We had no idea!) We are now scheduled to have the duct work cleaned out too! We have learned that the Handyside company and it's employees work like a finely tuned system. They work as a team and are able to identify, thoroughly explain, and quickly execute a plan of action resulting in high quality work. It is refreshing to know that this company is dedicated to providing homeowners with such excellence and superiority. Thank you Handyside, we are officially ready for winter!!!

The company reached out to us stating they will do what they can to make this right. They sent Jim, their install manager out to access everything. Jim was extremely knowledgeable and presented actual data to show us in detail how the system was operating. He went above and beyond and after discussion with the company, they decided to install a return vent and make the main return box and main supply box bigger. That way there would be more airflow that will result in lower static pressure. Jim had Mike come out today, October 29, 2025, to do everything. Mike is really good with installs. I trust him and Jim. I changed my initial rating from a 1 star to a 5 star because the company actually cared and made every effort to resolve the issues. Very rare these days. Jim and Mike are 10 out of 10. They actually listened, presented facts with backed up data and did everything possible to meet our needs. I also recommend Vaughn from their maintenance side. He had great suggestions and he to is trustworthy imo. My husband and I highly recommend this company because when things went wrong they actually stood behind their customer satisfaction advertisement. You spend a lot of money on hvac stuff so you want to be able to trust the company installing or repairing.

We had an aging furnace and a/c replaced. Mike and Andrew did a fantastic job! Very professional, thoroughly explained the new equipment and were respectful of our home. Very pleased with the installation!!

Jason was very professional and pleasant to deal with. The response time was amazing and saved us a lot of headaches. Jason gave us all our options and was very respectful.

Ben was polite and friendly and did the job quickly and well. He has done work for me before and I was very happy.

Handyside replaced a mini split heat pump in my dining room in February 2025, and it has been providing excellent cooling and heating ever since. In August 2025, I contacted a different company to evaluate my 91 year old father's multi fuel (wood/heating oil) boiler and heating oil tank. The boiler is over 40 years old and has only been fueled by firewood for at least thirty years. My father can no longer handle firewood, so I needed to determine if it could once again be fueled by oil. After doing an initial evaluation of the oil tank, the other company indicated that some improvements were needed before the tank could be put back into service. For the next six weeks, I tried unsuccessfully to get this company to do the tank improvements and to determine if the boiler could once again run on oil. They did not respond to my voicemails or emails. I wasn't sure if Handyside was familiar with this type of heating system, but given the positive experience I had with them back in February, I decided to contact them and find out. I'm glad I did! They were very responsive with making the improvements to the oil tank. I then got the tank filled, and Adam returned to troubleshoot the boiler. It took a few visits, but I am happy to report that he was able to get the system up and running again on oil, and my father is very pleased to have a warm home. Thank you so much for your dedication and persistence on what I am sure was a very challenging project!

2 reviews in one because it looked like maybe my July one did not post. October 2025 Another good experience today. Had my fall maintenance done. Had a couple parts replaced to keep my 23 yr old system running so i don't need to replace yet. July 2025--Very good experience. Technician was nice and explained everything. Their Handy Advantage Partner Plan with Maintenance offers so many perks whether it's HVAC, electrical or plumbing. Very glad I signed up for it since my system is 23 years old.

Was able to have a technician, John, come within two hours of my call to the office. Friendly staff and courteous service from the initial call to the completion of job.

Alex cleaned my furnace today and was very professional and took time to explain everything. He takes his job seriously. A job well done.

I was very happy with the customer service Handyside provided. Ashley responded to my request promptly and set an appointment for an estimate to switch some receptacles to GFI & update the meter wire that had degraded outside. Bo Ritter came out to do the estimate and I was pleased with how personable he was and he provided multiple estimates depending on which route I wanted to go. When him and his coworker Cole came out to do the work, Bo was happy to answer any questions I had and demonstrate the work that they did. Both of them provided excellent customer service & quality work. It was one of three estimates I got, and I’m glad I went with this company. I will definitely be using their services again and would recommend them!
