Since this was a permitted project, our team coordinated and completed all required permit and inspection procedures before installing the new electrical panel and reconnecting the existing circuits. The completed installation provides safer, more reliable electrical distribution and brings the system up to current operating standards.

Handyside Plumbing, HVAC & Electrical provided service for the customer after they contacted us about multiple rooms not having electricity. Our team reset a tripped GFI, which restored power to the affected areas. We also brought to the customer’s attention that the breaker panel was very small and had many tandem breakers. The customer explained that there are many circumstances where the breakers trip. Our team recommended a full panel swap out along with installing two new kitchen circuits to help alleviate strain on the existing circuits and improve the overall reliability of the electrical system.

Handyside Plumbing, HVAC & Electrical provided options for the customer after they contacted us about a whole home generator. We moved forward with the project and installed a 26KW Generac whole home generator with an automatic 200 amp transfer switch. The installation required careful placement around the customer’s propane tanks, maintaining 5 feet of clearance from windows, 18 inches of rear clearance, and 36 inches of front and side clearance to allow for proper airflow and safe operation.

Handyside Plumbing, HVAC & Electrical came out to evaluate the customer’s electrical issues. After reviewing the breaker panel and outside service, it was recommended that the outside service wire and meter base be replaced. The breaker panel was in decent condition, but it needed to be rewired, and the plywood backing behind the panel also needed to be updated. After our work was completed, the home’s electricity was fully restored.
