• Comment: This review will be quite lengthy because it is the only way I can do justice to this very positive review of the work completed by Handyside and its technicians. After 22 years I decided to replace my HVAC system. I spent a great deal of time researching HVAC companies to find one that offers quality work, exceptional service, and reasonable prices. After having no luck on my own my brother recommended Handyside to me. I requested an appointment online and Chris came out to my house within a few days to provide me with an estimate. Unlike other companies that came into my home and gave me an estimate without any support for their recommendations, Chris spent more than an hour and a half inspecting the system in place and sitting down with me to explain my options. To support his recommendations, he provided me with pictures of what I had in place. I made it clear to him that I did not want to hear technical jargon and he complied. Given his demeanor, his respect, and his knowledge, I agreed to contract with Handyside. And I could not be more pleased with the result. The team, Luis and Spencer, who installed the system are to be highly commended for their work. I was home during the installation and was very impressed with their work ethic. These gentlemen took only a 20-minute lunch break while they were here for almost 8 hours. At times I could hear Luis and Spencer conversing, and it was always about the installation. They were very supportive of one another and worked in unison. When possible, Luis and Spencer split up various aspects of the job. Luis worked on the interior and Spencer worked on the exterior. These gentlemen were very respectful of my home. At the end of the first day the area of the installation had been cleaned up. They also cleaned any small areas of the kitchen floor on which they might have walked. To be honest when they left it was cleaner than when they had arrived! Luis and Spencer came back a second half-day to install the humidifier I requested. Again, these gentlemen got right to work and had the job finished quite quickly. This is not to say they rushed the job. This is to say they worked quickly and efficiently as a team. Once all the components were installed Luis taught me how to use the thermostat in the home and the app on my phone. He and Spencer also reviewed the various parts of the physical system with which I might interact. On this second day they also had a trainee, Peyton, with them. Again, at times I could hear their conversations as Luis and Spencer were teaching Peyton the various parts of the job. When talking with me, these gentlemen displayed respect, kindness, and humor. As part of my install I received a 3-year membership of support and discounted work/parts. My system also is monitored by Handyside to catch anything that might arise before it becomes a possibly bigger issue.
  I cannot speak highly enough of Handyside and Chris, Luis, Spencer, and Peyton. Each of these gentlemen is a credit to the business.
