Our technician inspected Kathy’s air conditioning system after she noticed clicking and relay sounds from the outdoor unit. We confirmed the system was operating properly and explained that these sounds can be a normal part of the system starting and stopping. During the maintenance visit, we cleaned the coils, flushed the condensate line, checked the electrical components and connections, and inspected the ductwork and blower area. We also checked the air filter and left a spare for Kathy. After completing the maintenance, we tested the system and confirmed it was running properly. Kathy also had a better understanding of the sounds she was hearing and when they are considered normal. With the system cleaned, checked, and operating properly, she can feel more confident in her AC’s performance and readiness for continued use.

Handyside Plumbing, HVAC & Electrical came out to take a look and found there was definitely buildup and debris present that needed to be cleaned. We provided AC maintenance, replaced the filter, cleaned and flushed the condensate trap, checked electrical connections and components, checked refrigerant charge, checked the contactor, checked the capacitors, rinsed the indoor coil, and tested overall system operation to ensure everything was functioning properly.
