During a routine HAPPM maintenance visit at a Camp Hill home, our Service Expert found a cracked heat exchanger in the gas boiler that serves the back bedroom. A cracked heat exchanger is a serious safety concern because it can allow carbon monoxide to leak into the home. We scheduled a Home Comfort Specialist to meet with the homeowner and go over replacement options.

The homeowner chose to replace the existing boiler with a two-stage gas furnace and a 2-ton air conditioning system. We installed the new equipment in the attic and added ceiling registers and a central return. The home now has reliable, energy-efficient heating and cooling throughout.
