This Goldsboro, PA homeowner had Handyside Plumbing, HVAC & Electrical perform routine maintenance on their heating and cooling system. During the visit, Kathy mentioned that she occasionally noticed clicking sounds coming from the outdoor unit and wanted to make sure there was not a problem.

Our technician inspected Kathy’s air conditioning system after she noticed clicking and relay sounds from the outdoor unit. We confirmed the system was operating properly and explained that these sounds can be a normal part of the system starting and stopping. During the maintenance visit, we cleaned the coils, flushed the condensate line, checked the electrical components and connections, and inspected the ductwork and blower area. We also checked the air filter and left a spare for Kathy. After completing the maintenance, we tested the system and confirmed it was running properly. Kathy also had a better understanding of the sounds she was hearing and when they are considered normal. With the system cleaned, checked, and operating properly, she can feel more confident in her AC’s performance and readiness for continued use.
