The customer contacted Handyside Plumbing, HVAC & Electrical because their AC was not keeping up with the temperature set on the thermostat. They reached out because they were concerned the system was not cooling the home properly and wanted the issue addressed.

Handyside Plumbing, HVAC & Electrical provided an evaluation to address the customer's concern that the AC was not keeping up with the temperature setting and confirmed that the system had no AC, with the indoor blower running but the outdoor unit not operating. We checked the breakers and found that the dual capacitor in the outdoor unit had blown. We moved forward by replacing the capacitor, checking the wiring, and running the system through a full cooling cycle. Operation was confirmed and the unit began working properly.
